Mr. Sahil Kapoor currently serves on the Board of Directors of Novo Informatics Pvt. Ltd.,and is one of the founding partners of the company. Prior to NI, he worked as a Specialist in ILD, India (US Based Biotech Company), and Research fellow in SCFBio (Super Computing Facility for Bioinformatics & Computational Biology) at IIT Delhi. His managerial responsibilities in Research and Development concern the discovery of Novel drugs for global Pharmaceutical market on a wide range of targets related to genetic disorders and infectious targets. He has delivered talks in various public events, conferences on topics like Bio-Entrepreneurship, Commercial Trends in Biological Sciences, Computer Aided Drug Discovery. At IITD, he was actively engaged in designing models for annotating genomes under guidance of Prof. B Jayaram (IITD). Accredited with certification from Oracle, Sun Microsystems in Computational programming and IP from WIPO, Geneva. His command over IP management is an asset for company. Mr. Kapoor obtained his MTech degree in Biotechnology. During his degree, he worked with Dr.Reddy’s in area of translational genomics in Diabetes Type II and Daiichi Sanyko Co, Ltd. in expression analysis. His unique way of analyzing genomes led him to develop high end computational models for visualizing genomes from deeper aspects. At Novo Informatics, he is actively involved in directing global marketing and developing strategic alliances with Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology companies in a directional way. Mr. Kapoor ensures that Novo Informatics is promoting effectively across global countries through its technology in form of consultancy and products.
